February: The Month Where Resolutions Go to Die (But You Don’t Have To)
As Sydney basks in the golden glow of late summer, February strolls in like, “Hey, how’s that ‘New Year, New Me’ thing going?” No judgment — just checking in. This month invites us to pause, soak up the warmth, and maybe sweat a little (because, you know… muggy February heat) while reflecting on the internal climate we’re dragging into 2025.
January? Oh, January is that overenthusiastic friend who bursts through the door yelling, “Let’s do ALL the things!”— armed with resolutions, unrealistic expectations, and kale smoothies. But February? February’s the cool, laid-back cousin who casually sips iced tea and whispers, “Sooo… how’s that gym membership you swore you’d use?”
It’s the month when reality quietly taps us on the shoulder, and those shiny New Year goals start feeling like distant memories. Old habits sneak back in, Netflix starts winning the battle against productivity, and somewhere beneath the noise, a little voice asks:
“Is this the life I truly want, or am I just on autopilot with occasional snack breaks?”
Dive Deeper — Without Needing Scuba Gear
Picture your mind as an ocean. On the surface? Waves of thoughts, stress, endless to-do lists, and that one awkward thing you said in 2013 (yes, it still lives there rent-free). But dive beneath, and you’ll find a calm, vast depth just chilling, waiting for you to explore.
That’s where hypnotherapy comes in. It’s like deep-sea diving for your soul — minus the wetsuit and questionable oxygen tanks. It’s not about “fixing” you because spoiler alert: you’re not broken. You’re just slightly misaligned, like when your Wi-Fi’s acting weird, and all it needs is a quick reset.
Feeling Meh? Lost Your Mojo? Carrying Emotional Baggage, That’s Way Over the Weight Limit?
We’ve all been there. Life gets messy, motivation ghosts us, and we end up feeling like a half-charged phone. Hypnotherapy helps uncover those sneaky subconscious blocks sabotaging your momentum. It’s like clearing out mental junk files, reconnecting with your purpose, reigniting your passions, and tuning into that inner voice that’s been shouting, “Hey, remember me?!”
No reliving the drama. No emotional replays. Just powerful, transformative shifts that help you feel more you — limitless, light, and maybe even a little smug about how centred you’ve become.
Being Limitless Starting Today
Sit with your thoughts for a few minutes. Just pause, breathe, and call upon your inner wisdom. Think of it like sending a cosmic text to your spiritual heart. The good news? No data charges. The catch? You have to actually listen for the reply.
Make this a habit, like brushing your teeth, but for your soul. Commune with the infinite universe, the great cosmic Wi-Fi that connects us all, and yes, the signal is always strong if you tune in. As you sit with this deeper version of you, something magical happens—you’ll start recalibrating, shifting into a higher realm like a spiritual software update.
You’ll notice greater balance in your daily life. Like not losing your cool when someone cuts you off in traffic or things don't go to plan. Pay attention to how you show up when the world’s watching. But even more importantly, notice how you show up when no one is. Because true ascension isn’t about impressing others.
Care. Give. But do it from a place of love — not from fear, guilt, or because you feel obligated to attend that one friend’s gathering where you’d rather have a deep conversation with a slightly confused pigeon. 🐦
Speak your truth — gently but with the kind of honesty that makes your soul high-five you. Stay radiant, stay real, and maybe skip that awkward party on your calendar. Speaking of Calendars....
How Julius Caesar Ruined Your Calendar
Ah, the Gregorian calendar — humanity’s most ambitious ego project disguised as timekeeping. Picture this: Julius Caesar wakes up one day, flexes in the mirror, and thinks, “You know what history needs? Me — but like, forever.” And boom — July is born. Not to be outshone, his heir Augustus stomps in, says, “Nice try, Jules,” and hijacks August for himself. But wait — it gets better. Augustus notices July has 31 days, and because ancient emperors had the emotional maturity of a reality TV cast, he steals a day from February to make August equally fabulous. That’s why February’s out here looking like the calendar’s forgotten stepchild, barely hanging on with 28 days and an occasional pity day every four years.
And don’t get me started on the month names. September, October, November, and December — literally mean 7, 8, 9, and 10 in Latin… but they’re months 9, 10, 11, and 12. It’s like they tried counting after wine o’clock and just rolled with it.
Meanwhile, the 13-moon calendar is unbothered, vibing with the actual lunar cycles for eons, very much like the Mayan calendar. Mayans, Ancient Chinese, Hindu Vedic, Islamic, Egyptian, and Celtic (Druidic) all follow the Lunar cycles of timekeeping. There is no drama, no calendar gymnastics, just clean, cosmic precision. Plus, you get a bonus “Day Out of Time,” which sounds like a sci-fi holiday but is actually a real thing to reset and recharge.
This is why you often see Moon stories on the 23-NORTH Hypnotherapy Instagram. We’re out here honouring cosmic rhythms, not Caesar’s fragile ego. So, if you’re not following yet, come give me some IG love — I promise moon magic and mind-expanding vibes. 🌙✨
2025- Year of the Blue Rhythmic Story
(Sounds Fancy, Right?)
2025 is the year of the Blue Rhythmic Story. It is also known as the Year of the Awakened Thunderbird, which sounds like either an ancient prophecy or a very cool band. Either way, it’s about passion, purpose, and clearing out the emotional clutter you’ve been hoarding like a spiritual Marie Kondo. (If it doesn’t spark joy, toss it.)

We’re wrapping up the cycle of 9 in 2025. (If you missed the January newsletter, go back and read it. Yes, I’m shamelessly plugging my own work. You’d do the same.)

To ascend in life, you’ve got to recognise — not judge, just recognise — what’s weighing you down. Like that one friend who only calls when they need to borrow money. Or your own self-doubt disguised as “realism.”
And speaking of things that drown your spirit… let’s talk about the toxicity of narcissistic people.
Yes, I know — it's a big topic. But stick with me. I promise it all connects, and no, this isn’t a therapy session (though you might accidentally have an epiphany).
Ready? Let’s dive in.
Navigating Narcissistic Circles
How to Deal with Energy Vampires Without Garlic
Have you ever found yourself stuck in a conversation where the other person treats your words like background noise? You’re sharing something meaningful — maybe about your day, your dreams, or that life-changing documentary on penguins — and suddenly, bam! They’ve hijacked the conversation like it’s a reality show starring them. Again!
It’s like being an extra in the movie of your own life while they’re busy auditioning for an Oscar. Over time, this dynamic doesn’t just get annoying — it starts to chip away at your sense of self. You catch yourself wondering,
“Wait… do I even matter here, or am I just the decorative plant in their emotional living room?”
The Silent Energy Drain (No, It’s Not Your Wi-Fi)
Navigating these relationships is like emotional cardio — except instead of getting fit, you just feel exhausted. The fatigue is twofold:
- Dealing with difficult personalities (think energy sinkholes for attention) and
- The sneaky erosion of your own identity — like emotional erosion.
But Here’s the Plot Twist: You Have a Choice
You don’t have to shrink to fit into someone else’s self-centred universe. Hypnotherapy can help you break free from this exhausting cycle.
It’s not about changing them — because, let’s be real, you’d have better luck teaching a cat to do taxes. It’s about shifting how you respond. Hypnosis works at the subconscious level, where all the good stuff lives — self-worth, boundaries, resilience — basically your inner emotional toolkit.
Through guided sessions, you can:
- Rebuild your sense of self-worth: Detach your value from the approval ratings of others.
- Strengthen your emotional boundaries: Protect your energy without feeling like the bad guy (or the villain in their narrative).
- Develop resilience: Stay calm, cool, and unbothered, even when surrounded by walking ego monuments.
Picture This
You walk into a room filled with loud, attention-seeking voices. But instead of shrinking or rehearsing your escape plan (“If I fake a phone call now, will they notice?”), you feel calm, confident, and anchored. No more second-guessing. No more emotional exhaustion. Just you — fully present, fully powerful. Your authentic you.
Because here’s the truth: You deserve relationships that nourish you, conversations that flow both ways, and connections where you are seen, heard, and valued. |
If you’ve been feeling lost in the shadows of narcissistic circles, remember this: Your light is still there. Hypnotherapy can help you find it again — brighter, stronger, and with zero need for emotional bug spray.
